Anastasiya Bachmanova was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, grew up in Philadelphia, and moved to the Monterey Bay area in 2008. She attended California State University of Monterey Bay, studied abroad at Massey University in New Zealand for a year, and graduated in 2013 with an Integrated Studies degree, specializing in Science Illustration. She integrates environmental science with a global approach, and finds her inspiration by exploring the world through outdoor recreation. She is available for commission projects including paintings, murals, and surfboard art.
