Mom's Aquarium

The original idea was to paint something for my mom to hang on her wall, but somehow evolved into a full on mural. A little tropical underseascape with whimsical fishies to look at during the winter time!

I was itching to start painting after coming home from New Zealand, and got this inspiration from a home I visited in Hawaii, loved the lighting and objects in this scene. Wanted to paint something the size of a refrigerator door. This was a fun and fast project.

I think my next one will be of sheep, in honor of NZ. Hopefully this will be completed before I leave for Cali !
